Objective
The video shows the development of custom made toric IOL and their surgical techniques, CO-MICS and first toric, bifocal MICS IOL.
Methods
Chronological demonstration of the development of custom made toric IOL, a plumb marker, a screen transparency for orientation of toric IOL, CO-MICS and the first custom made toric, bifocal MICS IOL.
Results
By the co-development of these different material and surgical technique  even highly astigmatic eyes  are now compatible for bifocal IOL.
Conclusions
A high precision and predictability in phacorefractive surgery is achieved by the first toric, bifocal MICS IOL (Acri.LISA TD by CarlZeissMeditec). Only in very few cases a bioptic procedure is unevitable.
