Anwarul Azim
Eye Center "East Sight Recover", Moscow, Russia
Background: Glaucoma can damage the optic nerve and results in vision loss and blindness. Anyone can develop glaucoma. Although, a large amount of research is done to improve its diagnostics, prevention and treatment, it remains a major problem of modern ophthalmology.
Objective
Glaucoma can damage the optic nerve and results in vision loss and blindness. Anyone can develop glaucoma. Although, a large amount of research is done to improve its diagnostics, prevention and treatment, it remains a major problem of modern ophthalmology.
To estimate the application of the ancient eastern Chinese medicine Chjen Tszew therapy/acupuncture, and modern energy-informational methods: exogenous bioresonance therapy (BRТ) & multiresonance therapy (MRT) for glaucomatous optic neuropathy treatment.
Methods
In the eye center "East Sight Recover" 42 patients with glaucomatous optic neuropathy have been surveyed and have passed the treatment by acupuncture, needlereflexotherapy (NRT), acupressure, bioresonant therapy (BRT) by fixed frequency waves (impulses), and multiresonance therapy (MRT): induction therapy and bioresonance therapy along meridians (organs and systems) for 3 year supervision.
Results
All patients noticed general somatic symptoms improvement, irritability decrease, sleep normalization, visual fatigue decrease. In all cases an increase of visual acuity from 20 up to 40 % and visual field restoration were marked. Some subjective symptoms have also disappeared or have been considerably reduced, such as: mycropsia, metamorphopsia, infringement of color perception. They also noted significant downturn of light sensitivity in the macular part of retina threshold values.
Conclusions
1. Acupuncture and bioresonant therapy are highly effective non-medicamentous ways of the glaucomatous optic neuropathy treatment.
2. The application of the above-mentioned methods results in partial or full restoration of visual functions.
3. In carrying out acupuncture and bioresonant therapy the adverse side effects and complications have not been revealed. |
