Arriving by plane

Transfer to and from the Airport:
Leipzig/Halle Airport is located directly at two major German motorways: the A 9 (Berlin - München), and the A 14 (Dresden - Magdeburg - Hannover). The journey from the airport to the venue by taxi costs approx. € 25.

From the City Centre and from the Congress Center Leipzig, the Airport can be reached easily by a railway shuttle. The "FlughafenExpress" runs every 30 minutes between Leipzig Central Railway Terminal and the Leipzig/Halle Airport. A journey takes 14 minutes, and the service calls at the CCL, costs: € 3,60.

The Airport Train Station is also integrated into the long-distance network of Deutsche Bahn (German Railways). Every hour, InterCity Express trains are calling which travel between the Rhine/Ruhr region, Hannover, and Leipzig. A journey from Leipzig Central Railway Terminal to the Congress Center Leipzig by taxi takes nearly 15 minutes and costs approx. € 15.

Arriving by train

From the travel centre at Leipzig Central station, located right in the centre of the city, to the Leipzig Trade Fair, take the local train, Airport Express service, tram or taxi.
To obtain tickets and timetables or to reserve a seat, contact Deutsche Bahn AG on their national hotline +49 (0)180 599-6633 or via their online travel information service.
It takes 6 minutes to travel from the main railway station to the Exhibition Centre on the Airport Express service. Take tram no. 16 from Leipzig Central station to "Messegelände" (the terminus) - the journey takes 19 minutes. The trams run every 10 minutes.
The regional rail service runs from Leipzig Central station to the Exhibition Centre every half hour. The journey to "Leipzig - Neue Messe" takes 6 minutes.
The Airport Express service runs between Leipzig Central station and Leipzig/Halle Airport every half hour. This train also stops at "Leipzig - Neue Messe". Using this service, you can make a quick and safe journey from the airport (8 mins) or Leipzig Central station (6 mins) to the Exhibition Centre station.

The Leipzig Trade Fair property incorporating the CCL is located directly at a major German motorway: the A 14 (Dresden - Magdeburg - Hannover). Use the exit "Messegelände", or the exit "Leipzig Zentrum" to get even closer to the CCL's main entrance. Ten minutes away from the site, the A 14 intersects with another important German motorway: the A 9 (Munich - Berlin). The Leipzig/Halle Airport, too, is only 10 minutes away from the CCL. Federal Road B2
makes it easy to reach the CCL within 15 minutes from the City Centre of Leipzig.
