Congress Language
German and English.
The European, the Baltic-German, the Chinese-German and the AAO-DOG Symposia as well as several other symposia will be held in English as well as both Keynote Lectures, and the Vision 2020.

Registration

Membership of the DOG or confirmation of any oral presentation, video or poster does not automatically include the registration for the annual congress. Therefore, all members of the DOG and all speakers are requested to register prior to the congress.

New registration procedure
Online registration can be made solely online. Please note the new registration system and
its payment terms. Bookings that are liable to pay have to be balanced immediately at the registration.

Name badges
After having completed your online registration you will automatically receive a confirmation that contains a barcode via email. Please print this barcode. The barcode will enable you to print your own name badge at a self-service terminal onsite without having to line up.

Tickets for the Social Programme
will be handed out on site at the congress office.

Registration Deadline
There is no registration deadline, please feel free to register at any time. In case you register for the programme for accompanying persons after 13 September 2009 please bring along a copy of your bank transfer.

Registration fees

* Residents/Students: The barcode will not be activated before a valid certificate (informal
   certificate of clinic/student ID) has been submitted via fax (+49 30 284499-11) or email
   ( ) to Porstmann Kongresse GmbH.
   Late submission will not be accepted.

Payments

Registration and course fees and gala evening tickets have to be paid by credit card upon registration.
Your billing information including credit card numbers will be automatically encrypted by SSL and therefore prevent any unauthorized or unscrupulous persons from prying into the transmission.

Payment by credit card:
Your billing information, including credit card numbers that you fill in our secure SSL 128 bit certified form is transmitted and received using SSL encryption without being saved in our database. Payment by credit card will be charged a € 5 handling fee per transaction.

Terms of cancellation

Cancellations of registration will only be accepted in writing. In case of cancellation by 26 July 2009 registration fees will be refunded minus a handling fee of € 25. After this date there will be no refund.

Liability

Porstmann Kongresse GmbH acts solely as an agent and is not liable for any losses, accidents, injuries to persons or damage to property of any kind. This does not affect the liability of persons or companies charged with providing the relevant service. Oral arrangements require a written
confirmation. The sole court of jurisdiction is Berlin.
Participants accept the above mentioned conditions by sending the online registration form.

Certification

The certification of the 107th DOG Congress as an advanced training is requested at the Medical Association of Saxony (Sächsische Landesärztekammer).
Certification of attendance will be available at the on site Congress Office during normal opening hours.
